The Universal InfraRed (IR)-KNX gateway allows a complete and natural integration of any Air Conditioner unit (with an infrared receiver) into KNX systems.

Offered all the required DPT objects to be compatible with all KNX thermostats in the market.
Built-in room temperature sensor and 2 binary inputs.
Auto-Learn function to automatically set the IR remote controller configuration.
Energy efficiency functions, such as “timeout”, “open window” or “Occupancy”. Costs related to HVAC systems in a building are one of the highest and these functions allow to reduce them.
Simultaneous control of the AC unit by the IR remote controller and by KNX, thanks to IR receptor in device.
Up to 5 scenes can be saved and executed from KNX.

INFRARED COMMUNICATION WITH THE INDOOR UNIT

The gateway allows the control of the main AC functions via infrared commands. But also, thanks to the IR receiver that the device is equipped with, it is possible to know the real status of the AC unit even the user is controlling it by the manufacturer IR remote controller.

EASY TO SET UP BY ETS (STANDARD KNX TOOL)

The connection between the two networks is quickly set up in the ETS configuration tool using the product database available to download. Moreover, the Auto-Learn function helps to reduce significantly the configuration time.
